Major League Drone Racing (MLDR) is organized into three key Championship Classes, each serving a unique purpose within the league’s competitive framework, talent development pipeline, and audience experience. These classes allow MLDR to support grassroots pilots, showcase elite team competition, and foster innovation and growth in the drone racing ecosystem.

MLDR OPEN CLASS

MLDR SPEC CLASS
The MLDR Spec Class is Major League Drone Racing’s premier team-based division where pilots compete using standardized league-issued drones, ensuring a level playing field that highlights pure skill, strategy, and high-stakes head-to-head racing between official MLDR teams.

Minor League Drone Racing
Minor League Drone Racing is MLDR’s developmental division focused on nurturing new talent through school programs, first responder teams, and community events—providing aspiring pilots with hands-on experience, mentorship, and a competitive pathway into the professional ranks of drone racing.
